 Album review for Lee Perry - Bashment

Early Perry vocals and instrumentals, all backed by the The Upsetters. Standout tracks include Clint Eastwoord Rides Again, and Rude Walking (a blazing-horns dub version of Skylarking) Not exactly top-drawer packaging, and the booklet contains an un-informative brief essay but the music is killer so we'll call this one "Essential". Vintage Perry stuff is drying up on CD so you need to get what you can get these days!
