 All kinds of early Lee Perry here: one drop style, heavy skank, early reggae, smokey vibes, instrumentals, vocals, dub, and some rock steady. There a couple of really smoking, heavy one-drop early dubs on this CD. If you collect Lee Perry collector then you're buying this for a few of the obscure cuts that are hard to find (because you already have the other cuts). If you just dabble in reggae and want a very good mish-mash comp of Perry stuff at a great price then certainly this is a great one to have. No dogs on this release - it's all good stuff and very listenable all the way through. |
