Album review for Prince Jammy, The Upsetters - DC Dub Connection

This obscure album is probably the best dub album you have never heard. Collection of GREAT dubs, some of which were retrieved by Earl Heptones Morgan from the Black Ark Studio just before it closed. Earl put together this compilation of 1970s dubs in 1982 and it quickly went out of print. Some crucial dubs, including 'Party Time', 'Pure Sorrow', 'Storm Clouds', etc. Includes work from Prince Jammy (late 70s), Lee Perry and others. Most tracks mixed by Prince Jammy & Scientist at King Tubby's. Excellent sound quality. Includes a massive booklet with a long essay from David Katz.
