This LP is housed in a 'tip-on' jacket, which is a laminated, heavy chipboard record jacket. Tip-on jackets have a hefty, authentic feel while reducing the vulnerability to edge-wear, ring-wear and split seams. The artwork application process is vastly different than simply printing the artwork on cardboard. Tip-on jacket artwork is comprised of two sheets of paper: the first is wrapped around the front of the chipboard jacket and the second is laminated on the back. The finished product feels solid and looks awesome. A good analogy is the difference between a hardcover book and a paperback. Collectible, durable, and just plain cool!
